Jmac-art Website Update

Jmac-Art

The Jmac-art Story

Jmac-art is owned by Jenny McNamara-Furlong, a visual artist based in Manly West, Brisbane. Jenny had an existing Joomla website that she wasn’t really utilising. She wanted to start realising a benefit from her website, showcasing her latest artworks and advertising the art classes that she runs for adults and children.

Our website solution

We initially developed a new design for Jmac-art’s existing Joomla website and this was implemented last year. Since then, Jenny has been designing and developing a range of homewares based on her artwork and has also started some new initiatives – Paint and Plonk, and Paint a Party, events where adults and children can come along and create their own masterpiece, following Jenny’s instruction.

As such, we have had the pleasure of working with Jmac-art again to meet the changing needs of the business. The website needed to expand to accommodate and shop and more information on Jenny’s latest initiatives.

We implemented the new website on the WordPress platform as this offered easier options for ecommerce. Whilst we were at it, we applied a more modern design and moved to image galleries that truly showcase Jenny’s latest artworks.
