The Boost Bookkeeping Story

Boost Bookkeeping provides Bookkeeping Support to Micro and Small Businesses. They are based in Wynnum, Brisbane but they use cloud software solutions to provide bookkeeping services to small businesses anywhere around Australia. Boost Bookkeeping had a Wix website and wanted a more modern look for their website. They felt it lacked the professional touch and wanted to change this. The website was hosted with Wix and they used Gmail Apps for their mail.

Website Solution

We set up a new hosting account for Boost Bookkeeping, integrating with Google Apps for email. We moved the website to a WordPress installation. The main reason for this is that Boost Bookkeeping has several domain names and also wishes to expand and add more websites. We used WordPress Multisite to allow more websites to be added in future, it is a really cost-effective solution.

We used a long-scrolling page design for the homepage as this is really useful to users viewing the website on mobile devices. On one page they can learn about Boost Bookkeeping, find out what they do and how to contact them.

We added a blog which is great for keeping Boost Bookkeeping clients up with the latest news and advances in technology. We added a contact form and a useful links page. Boost Bookkeeping has several domain names and we redirected to the main website.

We moved all the domain names over into one registrar so they can be tracked easily and we now manage this for Boost Bookkeeping.
