The BWIB Story

Bayside Women in Business is a business networking group located in the Brisbane Bayside area. The aim of Bayside Women In Business is to help local women improve their social and professional networks as well as build their businesses. We previously worked with Bayside Women in Business to update their Wix website. The needs of the group changed and they wanted to offer more for their members using the website.

Our Website Solution

We moved the website to a WordPress installation to allow more flexibility. We gave the website a more modern design. We added a Members Directory where members can add details of their business. The Members Directory is searchable, making it easy to find other businesses and services. We implemented an Events Calendar that BWIB can use to advertise their upcoming events including location, description, cost and images, the events can be viewed either as a list or in calendar format. We added areas where members can advertise special offers and leave reviews for the group. We added a sign up form to allow new members to sign up to the group and this is integrated with Mailchimp. We included a facebook feed where website visitors can see the latest posts from Facebook.
