The Parkhead Gardens Story
Parkhead Gardens is one acre of flower gardens based in Perth, Scotland, that is open to visitors. They also hold the National Collection of Mylnefield Lilies. Parkhead Gardens wanted a website that would provide visitor information as well as details and images of their National Collection. Parkhead Gardens did not want the facility to update their website, they were happy to leave future website maintenance and updates to us.
Our Website Solution
We set up Parkhead on our hosting plans and we organised the domain name. We built a website on the Joomla platform. We implemented various image galleries for the website to showcase images of the gardens and the National Collection. We added a blog to the website so people can keep up to date with news about the gardens and the National Collection. We added a location map so prospective visitors could easily see the location of the gardens and we included a contact form.
Following implementation of the website, we worked on an SEO strategy to raise awareness of the National Collection of Mylnefield Lilies and the gardens themselves. We are still ranked number 1 for our targetted keywords.
